1. About Les Volumes
Les Volumes is a curated library of licensed film photography for brands and creatives, operated by Alex Grace Jones. All images are sold as digital downloads via lesvolumes.com.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a purchase on lesvolumes.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not make a purchase.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the authority to enter into a legally binding agreement on behalf of the entity you represent.
3. Licensing
Purchasing an image collection from Les Volumes grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the images in accordance with the licence tier selected at the time of purchase. It does not transfer ownership, copyright, or authorship of any image.
Full details of what is and is not permitted under each licence are set out in our Licensing Terms. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and understood the licence applicable to your purchase and that your intended use falls within its scope.
All licences are shared. The same images may be purchased and used by other buyers. Exclusivity is not available on any collection sold through this site.

This is entirely separate from anything available to purchase on the site, is not guaranteed, and is offered solely at our discretion.
Your licence is perpetual. There is no expiry date on images you have purchased, provided these terms are not breached.
4. Copyright & Moral Rights
All images remain the exclusive copyright of Les Volumes and the photographer. Purchasing a licence grants usage rights only. Ownership and authorship are never transferred.
The photographer retains all moral rights in connection with the images, including the right to be identified as the author. You agree not to do anything that would infringe those rights, including falsely attributing the images to yourself or another party.
5. A Note on Credit
A great deal of care goes into this work. If the images find their way into something you are proud of, a quiet mention of Les Volumes is always appreciated, though never required.
6. No Warranties
All images are provided on an “as-is” basis.
Les Volumes makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
• That the images are fit for any particular purpose beyond what is described on the product page
• That use of the images will generate engagement, revenue, enquiries, client work, sales, or any other commercial outcome
• That the images will be compatible with any specific software, platform, or device
You are responsible for ensuring the images meet your requirements before purchase.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Les Volumes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our images or website.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated business
• Loss of data or files on your device
• Technical failures including device failure, software incompatibility, or loss of internet access
• Inability to open or use the files
• Claims made against you by third parties in connection with your use of the images
• Disruption to service caused by third-party platforms including Shopify or payment processors
Our total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant collection.
8. Technical Responsibility
Les Volumes is not responsible for technical issues that affect your ability to access, open, or use files after download.
This includes hardware failure, software limitations, storage issues, or loss of downloaded files.
We recommend storing your files securely upon receipt. While we will make reasonable efforts to assist where possible, we are not obligated to reissue files indefinitely.
9. Intellectual Property Enforcement
Any breach of these terms or the applicable licence, including unauthorised redistribution, misrepresentation of authorship, or use outside the scope of your licence, may result in immediate revocation of your licence without refund and, where appropriate, legal action.
10. Refunds
Digital files cannot be returned.
If you have purchased in error and have not yet downloaded your files, please contact info@lesvolumes.com and we will do our best to help.
Once files have been downloaded, all sales are final.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in revocation of your licence and access to purchased files. Les Volumes reserves the right to contest fraudulent chargebacks and provide evidence of purchase and download to the relevant payment provider.
11. Delivery
Files are delivered as digital downloads immediately after purchase via Shopify’s digital download system.
If you experience any issues accessing your files, please check your spam folder first. If the issue persists, contact info@lesvolumes.com.
Les Volumes is not liable for delivery failures caused by third-party platforms. In the event of a platform issue, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure you receive your files.
12. Third-Party Platforms
Les Volumes uses third-party platforms including Shopify to process payments and deliver files.
These platforms operate under their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or failures caused by third-party services, and we do not store or process your payment details directly.
13. Pricing & Availability
Les Volumes reserves the right to change pricing or withdraw collections at any time without notice.
Purchasing before a price change or discount does not entitle you to a refund of the difference.
Promotional or discount codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be subject to additional conditions at our discretion.
14. Data & Privacy
When you make a purchase, we collect personal data including your name, email address, and transaction information.
This data is used solely to process your order, deliver your files, and communicate with you in connection with your purchase.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
All data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

15. Force Majeure
Les Volumes shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
Continued use of the website or purchases made after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
